• Since 2000, 2004 observed de-growth in advertising.
• Tata Motors topped advertising in Q1'05.
• B/W ads were the choice of Advertisers in Q1 2005.
In our series on the automobile sector, this week AdEx India
looks at the 'Commercial Vehicles' segment. The graph
below shows the growth of print advertising in the 1st quarter
of 2005 compared to the same quarter in 2004 .

1st quarter of '05 compared to Q1'04.
Now let's take a look at the growth of Commercial
Vehicles advertising in Print across the years 2001-04.

seen in 2003 (52%).
• 2004, the only year to show a dip in advertising (-7%).

the 1st quarter of 2005.

Do commercial vehicles advertisers prefer B/W or Colour ads?

Colour ads.
