at the growth in Water Purifiers/Filters advertising spends
during the years 2001-04 in Print medium.

• 2001 observed a dip of 43% in advertising
spends compared to 2000.
• After observing growth in two consecutive years, there
was a 7% dip in advertising spends in 2004 compared to 2003

the 1st half of 2005.

• Kent Grand
R-O Water Purifier brand of Kent R O Systems topped advertising
with 19% share in the 1st half of 2005
• Aquaguard Reviva & Aquaguard E Boiling+ gets the
2nd & 3rd positions in the Top 10 brand list, with 12% &
11% shares respectively.
Which kind of publications, i.e., Newspapers or Magazines, was
preferred by Water Purifiers/Filters advertisers in the 1st

went to Newspapers.
• Magazines got only 4% advertising spends
