Let’s take a look at the growth in Pharma Sector advertising spends during the past years 2000-04 in Print medium.


• 2001 saw maximum growth of 154% in Pharma Sector ad spends.
•Least growth of 1% in advertising in 2004

• Zandu Pharmaceutical tops the advertiser list with 8% share in the 1st half of 2005 closely followed by Ratan Ayurvedic Sansthan & Dumex India at 2nd & 3rd positions.

Which kind of publication -- Newspapers or Magazines -- was preferred by the Pharma Sector in the 1st half of 2005? The pie chart below gives the answers


• 85% of the advertising spends in Newspapers
• Magazines got only 15% share
