Newspaper Advertising

With the advent of electronic media in India, the advertising in India has changed phenomenally, the days of Shunu Sen and Alyque Padamsee brainstorming over one “Lalita jee” ad is gone, in last 2 decades India has taken leap in advertising, with growing middle class and consumerism, MNCs are entering due to increase in FDI and same time local players in FMCG, Electronics, and service sectors has brought about change in the structure. Catering to a large middle class, these companies are still relying on print carriers, especially News paper, to reach to the their TG, be at SEC (Socio Economic Class) A+, A, B+, etc, Newspapers as a medium for advertising in India is still prominent and growing strong, Despite the fact, we have myriad of News channels, radio channels, websites and other means of Mass communication but to reach a common man and tell him about a product, the safest and sure way is Newspaper Advertising.  

Over the period of time, Newspaper advertising has changed in their look, strategy, colors, and format. Whether it is designing an ad, directing a photo shoot or organizing an entire media campaign, newspaper companies can do it for you. They have assembled favorite advertisements, brochures, catalogs and newsletters for their clients, to give an idea of what can be done.

Nowadays Newspapers are not only giving global or local news on sports, geo-politics, education, crime, etc, but there are some newspapers which have carved a niche for them, talking about “Impact”, a print venture of www.exchange4media.com (which is the most visited website for ad news, views and change in entertainment Industry), is not like any other newspaper, it gives you information on Ad Industry, talks about who’s who of ad world, talks about TV Industry, Production Houses, jobs, people. There are no prospective competitors of “Impact”, though there are a few more print Journals talking about the same, but content wise Impact has clearly taken a big lead.
