‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ has managed not just a multi-star cast but also multi-brand deals. The latest to hitch on to the brand wagon is Yatra.com. The travel portal has rolled out an innovative promotional campaign that invites people to do their travel bookings through Yatra.com and get a chance to be a ‘Kebab Mein Haddee’.
As part of this promotional offer, customers will get an opportunity to meet one of the six star couples from ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ by simply logging on to www.yatra.com and making their travel bookings.
It’s the first time that Yatra.com has taken the Bollywood co-branded TVC route and the activity is being promoted through television and online marketing. A TVC announcing the contest is currently being aired on more than 12 entertainment and news channels, including Zee TV, Zee Cinema, Zee News, MTV, Channel V, ETC, Sahara One, HBO, CNBC Awaaz and CNN-IBN.

Nikhil Advani’s ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’, which boasts of a star cast comprising Salman Khan - Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham - Vidya Balan, Akshaye Khanna - Ayesha Takia, Anil - Kapoor - Juhi Chawla, Govinda – Stephanie, and Sohail Khan - Isha Koppikar, was released on January 25, 2007.
