Winners speak on their big wins at Maddies Awards 2015

The inaugural edition of the Maddies Awards 2015 saw some of the best work in the mobile domain being recognised. In its inaugural edition, Mindshare won ‘Agency of the Year’, PepsiCo named ‘Mobile Marketer of the Year’ at the Maddies Awards. exchange4media spoke to some of the winners of the Maddies Awards 2015.   

Kshitij Karnad, AVP – Digital & Mobility Services, PHD spoke on winning 2 Golds, 2 Silvers and 1 Bronze said, “Awards are a great barometer for the kind of hard work that a team puts in. And Maddies from exchange4media is a great platform to be winning on, so we are really excited. Thanks to the client, the jury and for exchange4media for choosing us as the winners in the categories we won in. Mobile is increasingly becoming the main means of engaging with consumers and it is no more an ancillary medium like it was sometime back. So it is great to be winning in these categories and great to be connecting with consumers.”  

Neeraj Karambelkar, AVP Marketing, Fame Digital winning the Gold award for the #Fame Anthem said, “I would like to thank exchange4media and the jury for giving us this honour and this recognition. This anthem is core to all of us and the sole of the brand. We started our communication and marketing activity with this anthem and it feels great to be recognised across the different forums and platforms and award ceremonies for creating a piece of communication.”

Pancham Endlaw, Head – Advertising, South Asia, Opera Mediaworks won a Silver award for their work on Askmebazaar said, “It is great to be recognised for our efforts. We have kind of burnt the midnight oil for our client for working on their sales strategy and for getting in sales. This is actually an acknowledgement of the effort we put in and I would sincerely like to thank the jury of the Maddies for choosing us for this honour. I think Maddies is a great platform to recognise the effort and talent that we are growing here in India. Looking at all the winners and the due diligence which has gone in to choose the winners, I think it is a great product.”
