Windchimes to handle social media for Aegon Religare

Social media specialist Windchimes Communications has bagged the social media mandate for Aegon Religare. Windchimes will leverage Aegon Religare’s presence in the social media space along with managing the brand’s online reputation. The social media specialist will support and spread the brands online and offline insurance offerings to an increasingly growing online audience.

The company’s products such as Aegon Religare iTerm Plan and Aegon Religare Future Protect Plan have been ranked among the best in terms of value and have attracted many external accolades.

On awarding the mandate to Windchimes, Yateesh Srivastava, Chief Marketing Officer, Aegon Religare, said, “Social media has become a very important tool for disseminating information. It is extremely essential for us to be accessible to our customers on the web, connect better with them and help solve their insurance related needs. Windchimes comes with the requisite social media experience and therefore was our preferred partner to drive our brand imagery online.”

As part of the mandate, Windchimes will promote insurance plans like the iTerm Plan, which are exclusively offered online as well as offline offerings using social media. A host of exciting contests and innovative campaigns would be synergised to engage the audience. Windchimes will also play a key role in creating buzz about the brand offerings.

Aegon Religare Life Insurance Company Ltd was formed jointly by Aegon, an international life insurance, pension and investment company; Religare, a global financial services group and Bennett, Coleman & Company Ltd in 2008. Since then the company offers various financial products in the life Insurance space like protection plans, ULIPs and retirement plans, among others.
