Weber Shandwick adopts Facebook at Work to Connect employees around the world

Weber Shandwick becomes the first global public relations firm to adopt the Facebook at Work collaboration platform. The enterprise-wide engagement comes on the heels of a successful pilot program that began in late 2015, in which the firm was also the first global PR firm to engage as early adopters.

The launch of the platform is part of Weber Shandwick’s ongoing effort to explore and understand new innovative communications platforms for clients engaging key constituencies, employees increasingly being among the most important.

Chris Perry, Chief Digital Officer, Weber Shandwick said,  “Facebook at Work will be a player in employee engagement solutions going forward, so we’re adopting it across our company to continue to analyze and understand advantages for clients, as well as benefit fromthe value it brings to our own highly creative and collaborative global network.”

Weber Shandwick’s pilot of Facebook at Work included nearly a quarter of its worldwide staff and was set-up across teams with varied organizational structures and workflows  to gather best-practices and insights that would beapplicable to a variety of companies.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
