Mobile can no longer be ignored and while the BFSI sector on the whole is seeking ways to merge the device in marketing plans, Standard Chartered has its mobile marketing strategy set, said Sanjeeb Chaudhuri, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Regional Head, South Asia, Standard Chartered Bank.
Chaudhuri shared that Standard Chartered has its independent flagship mobile platform which has a customer focus and customer intuitive user interface. He explained that the bank uses mobile marketing to gain leads from consumers.
According to him, there is an increasing realisation about consumer marketing being RoI-based and not only an act of faith, where a brand can only hope that the consumer shall revert to any particular communication.
