Video: In future, everything will be digital - Ashish Bhasin

For Ashish Bhasin, Chairman India & CEO South East Asia, Aegis Group, accolades in the digital space are important due to the medium being in the forefront of marketing campaigns today.

Speaking at the Grand Finale of Indian Digital Media Awards (IDMA) 2013, Bhasin explained how recognition in the digital space is not only important for acknowledging path-breaking work, but also encouraging and guiding the new entities in this space.

Shedding light on the future of digital, Bhasin said that all platforms will soon be integrated and there shall be little difference between digital and traditional. Thus, there shall be no question such as the future of digital, because everything will be digital.

Digital is now moving from becoming a medium to THE medium and thus, it has been in the limelight more than any other medium of late. Print is said to be constantly losing its share to digital. Commenting on the situation, Bhasin explained that the Indian market is sufficient for several media to co-exist. Thus, there is no threat to any particular medium.
