Vdopia inks strategic video advertising deal with Web18

Vdopia, an online video advertising network and video ad platform company, on January 2, 2009 announced an online video advertising deal with Web18, the online arm of the Network18 Group. As part of the deal, Web18 will use Vdopia video ad platform – VDOAd – for delivering ads on its video content, while Vdopia Ad Network will procure and serve advertisements for all video content across all Web18 sites.

VDOAd provides video ad serving technology to most premium Internet television channels in India. It is claimed to be the most effective way for advertisers to reach out to Indians worldwide, connecting brand advertisers in more than 100 million video streams of premium content every month.
