Vdopia announces tie up with IAB mobile & Horn Group

Online and mobile video advertising technology developers Vdopia today announced a strategic partnership with the Interactive Advertising Bureau's mobile arm, and with the Horn Group, to fuel future growth, even as the company marked its second anniversary.

"Delivering four billion video ads in two years is a significant achievement which speaks to our early entry and constant innovation in the mobile space," said Co-founder and CEO, Vdopia, Srikanth Kakani.

Advertisers who use Vdopia's technology include Bausch+Lomb, Disney, Ikea, McDonald's, Microsoft, MillerCoors, Nokia, Samsung, Scion, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, Vodafone and Wrigley.

The Horn Group has partnered with Vdopia as the brand's digital communications agency for their mobile business. Vdopia has also tied up with the IAB's Mobile Marketing center of Excellence to take an active role in shaping mobile video advertising by helping standardise formats and measurement.

Saurabh Bhatia, Vdopia co-founder and Chief Business Officer said, “The IAB is recognized as a critical assurance of digital advertising quality, reliability and accountability,” He further stated. “As the pioneer in mobile video advertising, we look forward to collaborating with the IAB and our fellow council members to grow industry adoption of mobile video as the next wave of brand media for smart marketers everywhere.”

The group released the Little Hearts online-only campaign, #BreakSomeHearts, early this year and is on the path to make many more of its brands available on the digital platform
