ValueFirst Connect is conducting one of the biggest Bluetooth marketing activities for Tata Sumo Grande. As per the initiative ValueFirst Connect is broadcasting the product catalog in the form of a Bluetooth application with screen savers and wallpapers. The activity is being conducted in over 20 cities and would span over two weekends, starting April 12, 2008.

The customer gets all the information about Tata Sumo Grande, including information related to dealer contact numbers, dealer location, or test drive facilities through the Bluetooth application.”
Bluecasting or Bluetooth marketing is gaining popularity at events, malls, multiplexes and cafes. A Bluetooth zone is created by installing a Bluetooth gateway at the location. The range of each gateway is around 75 feet. People within the Bluetooth zone can download free mobile content by switching on their Bluetooth application and keeping their phones in a discoverable mode.
He added, “Brands have become conscious of the role mobile phones play in the lives of their consumers and are consciously trying to tap this medium. Bluecasting is all set to become an integral part of their mobile strategy along with SMS and WAP.”
