Tonic Media expands its digital footprint in South India, appoints Tomu Jacob as Business Head

Tonic Media, a Mumbai based full-service digitally-led creative agency, has recently announced its South India expansion with the launch of its first office in Bangalore. It has thus added Bengaluru to its current offices in Mumbai and Dubai. Leading this initiative is Tomu Jacob who joins Tonic’s Bengaluru operations as Business Head, South India.

Jacob’s responsibilities include driving the agency’s strategic vision and leading key client engagements across South India. He comes with a decade of experience playing key roles at Nokia and Hutchison Essar.

The new location will diversify the agency’s services to South India thus amplifying its range of digital and social marketing capabilities.

Speaking on this, Chetan Asher, CEO and Co-Founder, Tonic Media said, “In the recent years, Bengaluru has grown as a hub for start-ups and e-commerce businesses. Taking to this start-up culture demand, we hope that the Bangalore office will support Tonic’s growth across South India as well as increase our ability to help businesses in the region transform the way they attract, engage, and delight customers through digital.”

Talking about the expansion, Jacob said, “I am excited to begin this new association with Tonic. With Tonic team’s expertise and my experience of the start-up market, we aim to climb new heights in the digital arena.”
