TO THE NEW Digital helps American Swan in technology revamp

American Swan has gone live with its new corporate website that was built by TO THE NEW Digital, a premium digital services company.

TO THE NEW Digital helped design, develop and launch American Swan’s new website. The new responsive web application aims to intensify consumer digital interactions by delivering single, seamless experience across devices and channels. Various interesting features have also been incorporated in the website to enhance user’s buying experience as well as site’s conversion rate.

The company handled the complete technology overhaul of the old platform and built a highly scalable and robust platform, which can handle upto 10x of their current load. The entire application was rebuilt using cutting edge technologies such as Grails, Elasticsearch and AngularJS. This has helped improve website speed with almost no down time.

Speaking on the development, Deepak Mittal, CEO, TO THE NEW Digital said, “American Swan project was indeed a challenging one due to many factors. Being an online business, there was an immense risk involved in migrating such a massive database from MySql to Elasticsearch. We spent several hours working on modules and then reworking them to reach the right solution. Using Elasticsearch as a complete data store as compared to traditional RDBMS database systems makes this revamp unique in itself.And we are very proud that with this technology overhaul, American Swan is better positioned than ever to turn its digital presence into a key lever for growth.”
