Raghav Bahl, one of Indian media's bigwigs, has drawn up a new strategy for his new venture, hindi version of www.thequint.comThe group is now planning to launch its Hindi website for which recruitment process has begun.
Even before the launch of its Hindi website, the group is marketing Hindi content. The Quint has used its Facebook and Twitter platform in a creative manner which will ensure that its image would not be that of a new player in this field. Facebook page and Twitter account named Quint Hindi has got good number of likes and followers.
Interestingly, by using Facebook and Twitter, the Quint is in competition for news with not only the print media but also electronic media. The Quint reporters were earlier putting out short video clips but now they are releasing complete stories with PTC deftly put together in the news room.
