Tata Indicom brings mobile connections at the click of a mouse with ichoose

Tata Indicom has launched its online retail store – ichoose – to help users buy their mobile connections online. Users can log on to this site and choose the Tata Indicom mobile phone and tariff they prefer and also have it delivered at their doorsteps for free.

The option, available only for post-paid plans currently, will also include all the other Tata Telecom services in the near future.

Darryl Green, CEO, TTSL, said, “As we move into the year of broadband, we want to take the lead by being the first service provider to introduce an online retail channel and offer our customers the convenience of buying mobile connections at the click of a mouse.”

ichoose offers a wide range of Tata Indicom handsets, tariff plans and value added services. Customers can compare and select the appropriate tariff plan, handset and value added packs to suit their exacting requirements and lifestyle demands.

Green further said, “With the introduction of ichoose, we hope to break away from the current clutter of mobile offers and empower our customers to make an informed decision. We are committed to introduce services which are in line with the changing lifestyles and needs of our discerning customers. ichoose will help us extend our reach across various segments and offer our customers the convenience of going mobile online.”

ichoose is currently available across the 18 circles of Tata Teleservices and will be live in Mumbai and rest of Maharashtra shortly. BillDesk will provide and manage the online payment gateway; the billing platform has been secured to ensure utmost protection and secrecy of all customers' shopping transactions. The e-shop will also offer customer support linked with the central contact centre.
