Starcom MediaVest Group & DigitasLBi win Lodha Group’s digital mandate

SMG Convonix, the digital arm of Starcom MediaVest Group in India and DigitasLBi have jointly been awarded the overall digital mandate for Lodha Group, real estate developer.

Under the umbrella of this partnership, which will jointly shape the digital strategy for Lodha Group, DigitasLBi will be responsible for managing all digital assets including websites, social media properties and digital creative campaigns. SMG Convonix will strategize and execute media campaigns, promote the brand interests through search marketing, SEO, execute performance driven social strategies and tie up the entire digital effort through web analytics.

Lodha Group zeroed in on the combination of SMG Convonix + DigitasLBi after multiple rounds of evaluation across major digital strategy and digital media firms.

"We are very excited about beginning this new partnership with Lodha Group, said Sarfaraz Khimani, COO of SMG Convonix. "With property investment interests from across the globe, we are hoping to help them expand reach to customers in India and Indian’s living abroad. They are already ahead of the curve in their category when it comes to marketing and we look forward to up the ante in making digital a stronger and more valuable part of their marketing mix."

Amaresh Godbole, MD - India, at DigitasLBi commented, “The past few years Lodha Group has been consistently differentiating their brand with a distinct creative signature. They are truly visionary, which is inspiring for us in terms of creative and technology possibilities. Our attempt will be to see how digital best integrates with Lodha’s iconic projects across key customer consideration sets and deliver the relevant proposition with targeted storytelling, leading to measurable results for brand scores and sales.”
