SifyMax captures highlights of India’s Caribbean tour

Sify Ltd has announced that it would cover the highlights of the India-West Indies series on its website www.sifymax.com. Beginning May 19, 2006 till July 2006, SifyMax will capture the entire series – five One Day Internationals and four Test matches.

Commenting on yet another cricketing extravaganza on SifyMax, Surya Mantha, Senior Vice-President-Interactive Services, Sify, said, “Our quest is to provide the most exciting India-centric broadband content for Internet users. We received a tremendous response to our live webcast of the ODIs between India and England in March 2006. Now, broadband users will be able to watch highlights of the India-West Indies series from home or office or from any of the 3,300 Sify iWays in over 153 cities across the country. Our intention is to make www.sifymax.com a home on the web for initiatives such as this.”

Unlike TV channels, where the highlights are available only after the end of a match or an inning, Indian Internet users can now view the fall of wickets, fours and sixes as they happen, any number of times from any of the matches played by simply logging on to www.sifymax.com.
