Senior appointments at Mediaware Infotech

Mediaware Infotech, a provider of IT-enabled services, has announced the appointment of two industry stalwarts to its Board as Directors – Sankara Pillai, the original team member of India’s first TRP data service, and K Raghavendra.

A core research man with a huge media exposure, Pillai is currently Mentor of QED Research. His experience in media involves setting up and heading the diary-based TRP system and later on being heard of servicing and operations of India’s first peoplemeter system (INTAM) from ORG-MARG. He also was Head of the IRS team from ORG-MARG. His prior experience includes several years in IMRB and later as Director, Strategic Research at Lintas/ Pathfinders. Outside of research, Sankara’s experience includes being a Consultant to Morgan Stanley Asset Management and teaching in several prestigious institutes.

Starting as media planner/buyer and graduating to Head of Marketing Services, Raghavendra was last Head of Marketing Services at Jyothy Laboratories and Henkel. Before that, he had served as Senior Planning/Buying Head at Rediffusion/TME, Lintas and Mudra Bangalore.

Mumbai-based Mediaware Infotech has been in the business of IT-enabled services for advertising, marketing and media segments for the past 18 years, servicing almost 500 installations, including clients such as Asian Paints, Videocon, Havas, Madison, Percept and OMD.
