RMG Connect launches Oracle-based e-CRM tool

RMG Connect, the direct marketing operations of JWT, has announced the global launch of Connexions - an Oracle-based e-CRM tool. The tool, which has been developed in India, is claimed to be the first high-end pan-category e-CRM solutions, an evolution from the industry vertical-specific CRM solutions that are currently available.

A media release issued on the launch quoted Rakshin Patel, Senior Vice-President and GM of the division saying, "Connexions has been perfected by us for over a year and I am immensely satisfied with the robustness of what we have to offer our clients."

RMG Connect believes that with the tool it can deliver customer focused one-on-one solutions through emerging media including the web and mobile. The new solution is expected to benefit marketers in many ways including the delivery of a single-window loyalty management program encompassing design, conversion to reward points, and authorisation and tracking of redemption of those points.

The robustness of the solution is attributed to the care taken in its implementation with Oracle consulting. Continous measurement of campaign effectiveness, mid-course corrections, and improvement in the ROI of individual marketing campaigns are some of the benefits that will be delivered by the tool, according to the company.

Over a month ago, ThompsonConnect's operations and resources in India were merged with RMG Connect, in a strategic global move to make RMG Con]nect JWT's CRM operation. Its clients in India include Ford, Air India, Avaya, Godrej and Infosys.
