The Indian Digital Media Awards (IDMA) celebrates the digital marketing field and recognises benchmarks that will shape the future of the field and also inspire others to aim higher. The entries for IDMA 2013 are now open.
IDMA is the second exchange4media event that has an Advisory Board along with a jury panel to monitor the judging proceedings and entries very closely. On the advisory board are industry stalwarts such as Atul Hegde, CEO, Ignitee; Avijit Arya, Chairman and CEO, Internet Moguls; Deep Kalra, Founder and CEO, MakeMyTrip; Jaideep Shergill, CEO, MSL India; Nitin Mathur, Senior Director Marketing – India & South East Asia, Yahoo; Punitha Arumugam, Agency Director, Google India and many more.
IDMA has five major categories – Web, Mobile, Social Media, Languages and Special Awards with 59 sub-categories and the very important Hall of Fame Awards, which consist of Digital and Social Media Advertiser, Advertiser on Mobile, Digital and Social Media Agency of the Year, Mobile Media Agency of the year, and IDMA Person of the Year.
All the entries will be judged on pre-decided criteria by the Advisory Board and the jury panel. Also, in earlier conversations, Jury Chair and Chairman, Smile Interactive Mahendra Swarup, had said that innovation will be the key in all the entries.
Vikram Sakhuja, CEO, Maxus Worldwide and Jury co-chair of IDMA 2013 shared that how traditional is redefined will also be looked at closely in the judging process.
