Pressmart India in strategic digital publishing pact with Suburban Newspapers of America

Hyderabad-based Pressmart has stepped up its business growth plans in the US digital publishing market with a strategic pact with Suburban Newspapers of America (SNA), whose members include some of the largest public and privately held newspaper companies in North America. The agreement is to provide a digital, same-as-print electronic edition of their monthly association newspaper ‘Suburban Publisher’. This partnership places Pressmart in a position to tap US’ increasing demand for digital publishing solutions.

Al Cupo, Vice-President, Operations, SNA, said, “The Pressmart solution has the capability to provide all SNA members access to ‘Suburban Publisher’ on multiple digital distribution channels, including eEditions, RSS feeds and audio Podcasts, a mobile device solution, and eArchives.”

SNA member newspapers are recognised for their outstanding local news coverage along with exceptional, targeted advertising opportunities for local and major advertisers. Pressmart’s digital publishing technology is preferred by over 155 publications printed in 19 languages from 28 countries, including premier newspaper associations and federations, including the Trinity Mirror Group in the UK, World Association of Newspapers (representing over 65,000 publications worldwide), and CNBC European Business Magazine. Pressmart is also working out a strategy to expand its presence in Europe by participating in IFRA Expo in Vienna in October, which is the largest expo in Europe attracting over 10,000 visitors and 350 exhibitors.
