Prashant Tekwani joins as Senior Vice President at Monk Media Network

Monk Media Network, which will complete its first year of operations in January 2017, has appointed Prashant Tekwani as Senior Vice President, to strengthen its leadership team.

Tekwani, who until recently was the Associate Vice President at iContract and headed major accounts like Google, YouTube and HSBC, will be spearheading the Business Management and Brand Strategy unit at Monk Media Network. He has in-depth experience across various categories, and has worked on varied clients like Shoppers Stop, UTI Mutual Funds, Hot Star, Truly Madly, and Star Sports.

“I have always been an entrepreneur at heart, and the challenge of building one of the most exciting and upcoming agencies, was really enticing. We hope to attract the right kind of clients and talent who demand nothing short of great ideas,” Tekwani commented on his new role.

Speaking about Tekwani’s appointment, Ashish Patkar, Founder and CEO, Monk Media Network, said, “We are glad to have Prashant onboard with us. He is a rare suit who is as bothered about the idea as he is about the billing. We are sure that his cross-category brand experience and incisive insights will be a major value-add for our clients.”

Monk Media Network, launched in January 2016, has been rapidly building its team in the last quarter to service a growing roster of clients. The agency started its operations with 3 employees and today, has a team of 30 people spread across Mumbai, Delhi, and the Middle East.
