Panasonic India recently launched its digital campaign, #LiveYourDreams. The campaign’s theme revolves around realising one's dreams and through a contest provides an opportunity to fulfil it by traveling the world. #LiveYourDreams contest gives a chance to six winners to go for an all-expense paid trip to their dream destination. The winners will receive a 3 night 4 days all expenses paid trip with a budget limit of Rs 1 lakh along with a Panasonic smartphone to capture their experience.
#LiveYourDreams campaign urges people to get off their desks and motivates them to work hard to accomplish their dreams,. The song along with the video justifies the motive of inspiring people. The contest is conducted in two phases, to participate in #LiveYourDreams Contest, participants need to register on www.liveyourdreams.club which will be open till January 5, 2017. Participants can log in with their Facebook ID and strive to be in the top position of the leader board by earning points through activities on social media. The social media activities include sharing, inviting friends, tweeting, and voting which get active every six hours.
As part of phase two, the 25 selected participants get an individual Facebook Event Page and become joint hosts along with Panasonic Smart Phones. Participants need to upload a minimum of two posts (textual, photos or videos) a day and get maximum engagement on their posts. The final six winners are chosen on the basis of quality of content shared and the engagement on each event.
Talking about the campaign, Pankaj Rana, Business Head - Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “While we work hard in our lives, we miss out on small bits of happiness. The campaign #LiveTourDreams will help the youth to unleash themselves from mundane work life and live their travel dreams with a lifetime experience of their dream destination. This campaign is specifically targeted towards the millennials and ends on January 12, 2017. It has already started getting some good response from the youth.”
The campaign film ‘Kaagaz Ke Parindey’ has lyrics and visuals which can touch the heart of every millennial who dreams of traveling the world but isn’t able to because of the constraints of the corporate work life. The song sung by Siddharth Mahadevan inspires people to spread their wings and live their dream.
The campaign has been conceptualised by Delhi-based marketing agency, Sociowash and is directed by Tejender Sharma of Gibbous Films.
“I have seen that almost everyone has a dream but they don’t pursue it. This is a tale on those few who never give up. I believe this will inspire others to do the same,” said Sharma.
