Outcast TV selects Tanla Mobile to develop personal video communication platform

Tanla Mobile, a player in wireless application development, mobile billing and messaging solutions, has been selected by Outcast TV to build ‘Buzz’, their unique media personalisation platform. The first application of the technology is BuzzMyGoat.com, a service allowing people and brands to communicate with personalised video.

“At BuzzMyGoat.com, anyone can create and send a personalised television comedy sketch, dramatised greeting, announcement or advertisement to a friend, colleague, client or business contact, instantly,” explained Justin Wickham, CEO, Outcast TV.

“The real challenge was to ensure a totally intuitive and user-friendly experience from personalisation and preview right through to handset delivery. We chose to partner with Tanla Mobile because of their experience in delivering mobile content, and our preference to have one partner for both bespoke development and mobile billing,” Wickham added.

The Buzz platform is a fully-featured mobile narrowcasting engine. The platform uses groundbreaking technology, which allows the seamless integration of audio and video segments in an almost limitless number of combinations. By visiting www.buzzmygoat.com, consumers can manipulate and communicate with humorous video clips. The results are highly personalised, compiled by each user and sent to recipients via WAP. Mobile delivery and billing technology would be provided by Tanla Mobile.
