Nokia Nseries unveils online reality show – Digital Playzone

‘Digital Playzone’ is an online reality show started by Nokia Nseries. With ‘Digital Playzone’, Nokia Nseries aims to bring together technology enthusiasts and entertainment in an interactive digital lifestyle format. The Nseries Digital Playzone will be held in seven countries across Asia.

Vineet Taneja, Business Director-Multimedia, Nokia India, said, “Nokia Nseries is proud to host the Digital Playzone because it highlights the key qualities of discovery, exploration and sharing the latest technology. Nokia believes in enabling connectivity, between people, technology and applications. So, this challenge is a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the latest consumer technology and create a fun competition that brings different communities together through participation.”

A distinguished panel will screen 15 shortlisted candidates to select four Technoholics to enter the Nokia Nseries Digital Playzone.

Digital Playzone will showcase the convergence of technology and entertainment in a competitive setting while living the ultimate tech life for three consecutive evenings, to be held over the weekend from November 30 to December 2. The enclosed Technoholics will race to complete tasks that include performing entertaining acts with the audience through an increasingly difficult elimination rounds.

It will allow the selected Technoholics to interact with and experience the latest in consumer technology, from entertainment, imaging, video, gaming and music. The glass enclosure will allow the viewing audience and those walking by to watch and actively participate, allowing people to vote for their favourite Technoholic.

Aspiring Technoholics can register at www.nokia.co.in/digitalplayzone, where they are required to submit their particulars, complete a short questionnaire and explain why they should be considered India’s resident Technoholic. The idea is to identify Technoholic as a leader in his social network, technology enthusiasts who crave consumer gadgets that improve the quality of their lives, are well informed on the latest releases and always willing to praise the wonders of cool, new innovations and gadgets to anyone who would listen. Entries and voting are open till November 20, 2007.
