New-look Bollywoodbhaskar.com reflects its scale, progress and growth

DB Corp (DBCL), one of the largest print media companies in the country and home to flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar, announced today that Bollywoodbhaskar.com, one of its proprietary portals within the digital business, has launched a new, refreshed look with a new vision. The portal has been launched with the commitment of delivering a much stronger reader engagement through greater depth of content and most updated coverage of Bollywood and the entertainment industry.

Bollywoodbhaskar.com leverages its pool of editors reporting 24x7 from the ground. The new site promises to deliver fastest news to its readers and personalization of content as per interest utilising Dainik Bhaskar’s strong recommendation tool, thereby offering a plethora of opportunities for advertisers too.

The new look has a contemporary feel with vivid pink and orange colours, new fonts and greater depth to images and videos.
The change embraces the rapidly evolving needs of today’s readers and provides delightful and an uncluttered reading experience, said a spokesperson for the portal. The freshness of the new logo and layout also reflect the attributes of its readership profile comprising youths aged 18-34 years in metros and non-metros, the spokesperson added.

The new logo was unveiled by Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut last week. Talking about the launch, the actor said, “I wish Bollywoodbhaskar.com good luck. Keep churning out quality content.” The actor was in Varanasi for the launch of her awaited project, ‘Manikarnika: The queen of Jhansi’.

Gyan Gupta, CEO, DB Digital, said: “Launched in the year 2013, our flagship Bollywood and entertainment website has shown phenomenal growth. As it multiplies its numbers and reach, it was important to have a bold new logo that stands for the scale, progress and growth that the site has made. The new logo is a true reflection of Bollywood glamour, fashion, gossips, news and entertainment that the website brings to its viewers. The refreshed look promises to bring in renewed vigour and liveliness to the brand and make it more informative and comprehensive for the readers.”
