Naukri ties up with Infomedia to power jobs section for 17 magazines of the Group

Job portal Naukri.com has entered into a strategic tie-up with the Infomedia Group, one of the leading media companies in the business of publishing business directories, specialised magazines, direct marketing, printing services, and publishing outsourcing.

As part of the tie-up, Naukri.com will power content in the form of relevant job listings for 17 magazines of the Infomedia Group. The magazines are ‘Chip’, ‘Overdrive’, ‘AV Max Auto Monitor’, ‘Chemical World’, ‘Electrical and Electronics’, ‘Modern Machine’, ‘Modern Medicare’, ‘Modern Packaging & Design’, ‘Modern Pharmaceuticals’, ‘Modern Plastics & Polymers’, ‘Modern Textiles’, ‘Search’, ‘Better Interiors’, ‘Cricinfo Magazine’, ‘Overdrive Professional’, and ‘Modern Plastics’.

Commenting on the initiative, Krishna Tewari, General Manager–Publishing, Infomedia India, said, “It’s a tie-up for leveraging the reach of each other across different mediums. In this arrangement, Naukri.com supplies content on relevant job opportunities available in their databases to Infomedia’s special interest magazines and Infomedia gets a branding on their site for the magazines.”

Explaining the rationale behind tying up with Infomedia, Sumeet Singh, National Head - Alliances & Corporate Communications, Naukri.com, said, “Both Infomedia and Naukri.com are leaders in their respective segments and, therefore, there is a perfect brand fit, the partnership will be an effective branding tool across niche segments like plastics, medicine, polymers, IT. Almost everybody tracks the job market today so the new ‘job’ feature would be an important value addition for readers.”
