MTNL launches second edition of its e-newsletter, ‘MTNL Buddy’

MTNL has taken yet another initiative to improve its communication with its customers. The telecom service provider launched the second edition of its e-newsletter ‘MTNL Buddy’ in the Capital on Friday. ‘MTNL Buddy’ was launched in August this year and has received an overwhelming response from the customers.

The newsletter is delivered through email to MTNL customers by the 15th of every month. It is used as a powerful tool to communicate with the customers better and keep them updated with the latest products and service offerings, news and events of the company.

The e-newsletter also enables the company to get feedback/suggestions from customers on its products and services, thereby helping MTNL interface with the customers effectively.

Besides terming it as a special occasion, R S P Sinha, CMD, MTNL, also talked about IPTV, which according to him, would be a reality soon and with that the broadband connectivity would increase too.

‘MTNL Buddy’ contains a lead story along with regular features like spotlight on MTNL, tip of the month, schemes/product of the month, These stories and features highlights MTNL’s plans, initiatives, accomplishments and services.

In order to access customer perception, ‘MTNL Buddy’ also has a feedback poll on the company’s services. To make it more interactive, the e-newsletter also features a tele-quiz.

Speaking more on the e-newsletter, A K Bhargava, General Manager (IT), MTNL, said, “The objective behind getting into this activity is to disseminate information about our products and services to the customers. The move is aimed at educating our customers.”
