mobile2win in pact with  Saregama to distribute content  for ‘Ladakh – In Search of Buddha’

Mobile VAS platform company, mobile2win, has partnered with Saregama for the wireless distribution of santoor player Rahul Sharma’s latest album ‘Ladakh – In Search of Buddha’.

Son of well-known santoor player Shivkumar Sharma, Rahul has been much sought after in classical music events and as an individual composer for films and fusion music.

mobile2win has been mandated to distribute mobile content around this album to all telcos and media houses in the country. They will be providing mobile content, which includes wallpapers, music clips and ringtones. One can download ringtones by going through browser pages of their network operator.

The music album explores the concept of the reincarnation in Buddhism in an exotic new age fusion presentation. It uses shades of Tibetan sounds, the contemporary sounds of the santoor as also references to Buddhist mantras. The result is a cutting edge album. With the growth in consumerism as also changes in music listening, the product is aimed at the working adult above 25 years. Saregama has also produced videos for a couple of songs in the album, all shot in the picturesque foothills of Ladakh.”
