Mobile2Win brings alive Sholay spirit on mobile phones

Thakur, Basanti, Jai, Veeru and Gabbar are coming alive in the most colourful of places – at the office, at the washroom, in an auto-rickshaw and even at a blind date. Wondering?

‘Sholay’ has been immortalised the dialogues and the scenes in every mind and now you can carry a bit of the phenomenal blockbuster of all times wherever you go.

Mobile2win and Sholay Media & Entertainment (SME) kicked off the 29th Anniversary celebration of GP Sippy’s ‘Sholay’ with a host of mobile products. Mobile2Win has acquired exclusive rights from SME to create Java games, wallpapers, screen savers, customised dialogues, video clips, ringback tones, themes content, etc. Rajiv Hiranandani, Country Head, Mobile2Win, comments, “Mobile2win has been creating mobile games and content for the past 14 months and a brand such as Sholay is one that will drive huge excitement and volumes for consumers in India. The Sholay same, wallpapers, dialogues and other contents are bound to bring back the magic of ‘Sholay’ now on your handsets.”

And the man behind the show, GP Sippy says, ‘Mobile telephones have become very important part of our day-to-day lives. I am sure that millions if not billions will be entertained once more.”

In the first phase, Sholay has been launched on Airtel in all circles and the following weeks will see it going on all major networks.

Now in the near future, hands-free sets will be called Hands-free Thakur! Blame it all on Sholay.
