Mirum India bags Digital & Social Media duties for Global Citizen India

The Global Citizen Festival India will be hosted on November 19, 2016 in Mumbai with Coldplay, JAY Z and many leading Indian artists headlining the event. Mirum India has got the mandate to manage the Digital & Social Media presence.

The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (tGELF) is bringing Global Citizen to India. Mirum India is also developing a dynamic website for this initiative, where citizens have to register for a cause and undertake certain actions which will make them eligible to participate in the draw for the free tickets to the festival.

Bhavya Bishnoi, Spokesperson of Global Citizen India, said, “There was something about Mirum India that set them apart from the other agencies that pitched to us. We were excited to see their ideas, vibrant energy and their understanding of the Global Citizen brand in India.” 

Sanjay Mehta, Joint CEO, Mirum India, added, “It’s indeed a matter of pride for Mirum India to partner with Global Citizen India and tGELF and join the movement to end extreme poverty. We are also excited to be a part of the largest music festival for social change in India. Citizen’s platform really resonated with us. We feel this platform can have tremendous impact in India, especially if this movement is led by youth.”

The Global Education Leadership Foundation plans to collaborate with Global Citizen to run an important and impactful campaign every year in India for the next 15 years.
