Madison Media has roped in Rajdeep Bhattacharyya as Director, Digital, for its Delhi office. Bhattacharyya moves from Wunderman International, where he was Senior Account Director at its India office.
In his new role, Bhattacharyya will oversee the agency’s digital operations in Delhi for all existing and emerging digital media initiatives, including display, video, SEM, mobile, social and emerging media.
Commenting on Bhattacharyya’s appointment, Punitha Arumugam, Group CEO, Madison Media, said, “I am delighted to have Rajdeep join our team in Delhi and I am sure he will strengthen our already strong Digital team.”
On joining Madison, Rajdeep Bhattacharyya said, “I am excited to be a part of the Madison family and to get this opportunity to work with and learn from all of Madison Media’s digital talent, as we set about growing our digital expertise further. He further said, “I will be working in digital and interactive marketing – across different disciplines such as media planning and buying. I will also be working on the new media such as mobile, social and search.”
Bhattacharyya has worked in companies like Wunderman International in India and W3i and Critical Mass in the US. He has been in the business for nine years and has previously worked with brands such as Hyatt, Rolex, Nokia and Mercedez-Benz.
Madison Media handles digital work for clients like Airtel, Cadbury, ITC, Levis, Britannia, Godrej, Tata Tea, Bharti AXA, and SpiceJet, among others. The company claims digital account spends of about 10-15 per cent of the total digital spends in India.
