LinkedIn strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of AL Jagannath as Head, Trade Marketing for India.

He said that the ongoing focus will be to build off this platform and continue to give the best value to advertisers and recruiters. “Jagannath brings invaluable experience in building up large businesses and his addition to the India leadership team will help us accelerate our growth in the market, strengthen our operations and associate with even more businesses in India,” he added.
Based in Bengaluru, Jagannath’s immediate focus will be to drive existing and new initiatives for LinkedIn’s marketing solutions and hiring solutions portfolios. As part of LinkedIn India’s leadership team, he will be responsible for increasing awareness about LinkedIn’s array of customised solutions that are available to advertisers and recruiters in the Indian market.
With a career span of over 18 years in marketing, he has a holistic experience in business and consumer marketing. Prior to LinkedIn, he was with VMWare, where he was Director Marketing for India and SAARC. He has also worked with Sun Microsystems in India as the General Manager Marketing for its Systems and Storage business. Besides this, he has also held leadership positions at some of India’s largest IT companies such as Satyam Computers, Reliance Infocomm and Mudra Communications.
