KBS appoints Michele Prota as its Global Chief Talent Officer

KBS today announced the appointment of Michele Prota as its Global Chief Talent Officer. As KBS continues to grow its global network, Michele will ensure that employee experience and culture are top priorities across the agency’s offices in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and China. Prota will be based in KBS’ New York headquarters and will partner with Global CEO, Guy Hayward, and the rest of the global and US based leadership team to create a new breed of HR suited to and derived from KBS’ ambition to help companies modernize to thrive in a tech-driven culture.

“From the moment we met Michele, it was clear that she isn’t afraid to go against the status quo, and her vision for the type of initiatives a modern company needs to recruit and retain talent is very much in line with our thinking. This hire signifies KBS’ genuine commitment to both our employees and our evolution and I look forward to the bold ideas and unconventional point of view that Michele will undoubtedly bring to the table as we work to make KBS the undisputed home for smart, passionate, multidisciplinary thinkers and creators the world over,” said Hayward.

Prota will be tasked with rethinking and restructuring KBS’ approach to the employee experience, which will reimagine each touch point that existing and future employees experience with KBS.  She will also manage the agency’s investment as it pertains to Talent and her responsibilities will include elements such as KBS’ digital presence, physical space, and career development opportunities, among others.

“For me, it’s all about creating an environment in which employees can feel genuinely happy and fulfilled,” said Prota. “Not only is KBS the perfect fit for me, but I know it is the perfect fit for smart, enthusiastic folks who are passionate about leveraging technology to modernize companies. I’m excited to create a Talent Experience for present and future KBS employees that separates us from the rest.”

Prior to joining KBS, Prota served as the Head of Talent at The Barbarian Group where she worked with the team to find like-minded technology-centric and creative people who were curious about leveraging creativity to solve problems. She also oversaw Talent at JWT for groups both domestically and globally, and managed Talent Acquisition for the CFO Division at Merrill Lynch
