Reliance Jio(Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) kicked off its digital journey as lead sponsor of the “Jio Amaravati Marathon 2016”, the half marathon, 10 KM run and 5 KM run were flagged off from the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium by Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu, DGP JV Ramudu and others. Interestingly Jio Amravati Marathon, ‘@jioamaravati’ became one of the top trends on twitter Sunday morning.
The LYF phone hoardings of Reliance Jio were also first unveiled in the marathon.
The total trend time was 115 minutes with a total of 23 trends. Total number of trend occurrences were 394 and the period covering all trends was 261 minutes according to According to data from Trends Map’ iTrended tool.
Out of the 17 cities in the iTrended.com report, #JioAmaravati was trending at number one in Mumbai for 40 minutes; #2 for 130 minutes; #3 for 40 minutes
The event trended at number 2 in Amritsar, Chennai, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Nagpur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Srinagar and Thane, hence achieved a highest trend ranking of #2. It trended at number three in Bhopal, Lucknow and Patna.

Apart from this, Jio Chat the recently launched instant messaging app had introduced localised stickers created by renowned cartoonist & illustrator Neelabh Banerjee. These stickers brought out the cultural ethos of Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh and are symbolic to the city.
