iZone International: Mediaquest launches ad network Dotmena

Media and entertainment company Mediaquest Corp has announced the launch of Dotmena, an online ad network that covers the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The network has been launched with over 40 participating websites that account for 300 million impressions per month, covering content ranging from business, marketing, sports, lifestyle and entertainment.

“Dotmena provides its member websites with greater visibility and access to technical and commercial expertise. It also provides the appropriate platform to tap into the growing list of advertisers who want to exploit the huge potential provided by online networks,” explained Alexandre Hawari, Co-CEO of Mediaquest Corp.

As a digital publisher, Mediaquest has various online titles, including Kippreport.com, GMR-online.com, Communicate.ae, and represents dozens more. The launch of Dotmena forms part of the company’s organic growth and will complement its existing product lines in both the print and online segments.

“40 sites have already joined the network, including 10 from Mediaquest Corp’s own portfolio. We aim to partner with 100 websites by the end of 2011 and will be focusing our marketing efforts in the GCC and the Levant as well as key markets around the globe,” Hawari added.

Dotmena includes partners like Eurosport Arabia, Beirut Night Life, Auto Middle East, LamodaDubai.com and SavoirFlair.com. Offering online advertisers and media planners an increasing number of page impressions through a choice of websites related to their products or services, the network and service provider will keep its media partners fully informed of any developments, site hits, reader demographics, peak times, major sponsorships and other related opportunities.
