Internet start-up Isango, managed by former consultants and executives from Expedia and Cendant/ebookers, has chalked out aggressive plans to become an authoritative voice in the travel experience sector. Isango is not only riding the cusp of the growing consumer-trend towards DIY ‘itinerisation’ through their own website, but also provides established travel providers such as Ryan Air, Yahoo and Teletext with a range of flexible and customisable B2B solutions.

It has already executed tours in south East Asia, Europe and USA from India,” Sadana added.

Isango has a vibrant B2C website and offers straight through booking of trips, tours and activities in more than 60 countries. Indians travelling outside the country can pre-plan and book, saving a lot of last moment hassle from a wide variety of destination experiences. Isango is particularly strong in Europe, Australia, Latin America and South-East Asia.
