Indian Digital Media Awards: India’s best digital work to be unveiled tonight

The second edition of the exchange4media Indian Digital Media Awards is being held in Mumbai on June 3, 2011, where the best work in digital media in the last year will be honoured. The Awards have been judged by a jury led by Mahendra Swarup, Chief Mentor, Smile Group, and Shashi Sinha, CEO, Lodestar UM. The two led a jury of over 20 of the most respected names in digital media.

The Indian Digital Media Awards 2011 is being presented by Indiabulls Home Loans.

The jury includes digital leaders such as Arun Tadanki of Yahoo, Hari Krishnan of LinkedIn, Manish Vij of the Smile Group, and Rishi Khiani of Times Internet; along with advertisers like Sudip Ghose of Samsonite, Anand Singh of Coca Cola and Lakshmikant Gupta of LG to bring a complete and comprehensive point of view to the process.

The jury went through over 500 entries this year, up by over 25 per cent from last year’s entries, to choose the best work across seven categories covering the full spectrum of digital media, for both corporates and social causes, and for standalone activities and integrated campaigns.

This year, there are 27 Awards across five categories. The Indian Digital Media Awards, organised by the exchange4media Group, recognise the work being done in the ever-growing advertising and marketing communications activity in the digital media space, specifically Internet, mobile, gaming, social media and the blogosphere.

The exchange4media Group is a mere custodian of the Indian Digital Media Awards 2011. No one from the Group will be part of the decision-making and/ or influencing process.
