India clinches eight spots in the shortlist at Clio Healthcare Awards 2010

In its commitment to celebrate and reward creative excellence, Clio Healthcare Awards has announced the shortlisted entries to be honoured at its annual extravaganza scheduled for November 12, 2010. This is the first year of the award going ‘international’, and Indian agencies have secured eight spots in the shortlist.

The eight shortlisted entries from India are in the categories such as Direct Mail, Poster and Print. In Direct Mail category, the two nominees - Aakanksha Healthcare and Sorento Healthcare Communications have been picked for ‘Direct to Professional’ and ‘Direct to Consumer’ sub-categories, respectively.

The Poster category has three Indian nominees. In the Pharmaceutical sub-category, Sorento Healthcare Communications has clinched two spots while Point Blank Advertising Pvt Ltd has booked itself one nomination. In the same category, the ‘Over the Counter’ sub-category has one Indian name in the form of McCann Healthcare Worldwide.

While the Print category has two Indian shortlisted entries both from McCann Healthcare Worldwide in the ‘Direct to Professional’ and ‘Over the Counter’ sub-categories.

The categories across various medium of communication included Interactive, Direct Mail, Content & Contact, Television/Cinema/Digital, Print, Poster, Billboard, Innovative Media, Integrated Campaign, Radio and Design. Student work is also recognized in Interactive, Print, Poster, Billboard, Design, Strategic Communications/Public Relations and Television/Cinema/Digital.
