In-App video platform Seventynine expands to Australia

Seventynine, the in-app video platform announced setting up of its physical presence in Australia. This is one of the first aggressive moves by the company since it publicly stated the intent of going live.

Seventynine has appointed Amit Kopargaonkar as VP- BD & Sales, and he will be stationed at Sydney. Amit was previously working as Country Manager at Buzz City India, after having spent 5 years at Idea Cellular learning and perfecting the art & science of VAS as a business.

Seventynine is one of the technology focused Ad Networks in India and quickly expanded in South East Asia too, before setting itself up for the longer run in the entire APAC region.

With its proprietary In-App Video Platform, appjacketTM, Seventynine aims to drive the next wave of app monetization via Video, Rich Media, and a suite of high Impact Interstitial properties, all via one single, lightweight SDK. With its suite of detailed targeting options including detailed behavioral targeting options, Seventynine is trying to be the preferred partner for the largest brand advertisers in the region. This complements the high ranking it has received in the latest rankings declared by Tune.com, wherein Seventynine figures as the 14th most preferred mobile advertising partner globally.

Speaking on the development, Chirag Shah, Co-Founder at Seventynine said, “With Amit we have got a well-connected, smart resource who will be helping us to drive our business aggressively. We are looking at becoming the preferred partner for large advertisers while giving a genuinely good monetization alternative to the most successful publishers.”

Deven Dharamdasani, Co-Founder at Seventynine added, “With critical partnerships with global exchanges, as well as preferred reseller status with a large number of premium games and new apps, we have the vision to alter the market dynamics. Our technology is path breaking and our business is going to complement that.”
