IDMA 2016 sees record 817 entries from 70 agencies and 270 brands

exchange4media’s digital marketing awards, the Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA) 2016, will be held on June 17 in Mumbai. This year, the Awards saw a record 817 entries from 70 agencies and 270 brands.

The objective of IDMA is to recognize, celebrate and encourage the work being done in the ever-growing advertising and marketing communications activity in the digital media space, specifically, internet, mobile, gaming, social media and the blogosphere.

IDMA’16 will also feature renowned speakers who will be sharing their experience and knowledge with the audience. The speaker list includes: Amitabh Tapadar, Brand Group & Consumer Insights Head (Consumer Products Segment) at Bajaj Electricals, Anuradha Aggarwal, CMO at Marico, Ranjoy Dey, Head of Digital at Havas Media India, Siddharth Banerjee, Senior Vice President- Marketing at Vodafone India, Somnath Kedia, Business Head at IFB Industries, Vinay Kumar Singhal, Co-Founder and CEO at WittyFeed and Sanjay Ramakrishnan, Senior Director & Head (Marketing and Business Development) at Flipkart Ads.

Last year, the Hall Of Fame Awards went to Maxus India which was named Best Digital and Social Media Agency of the Year, DBS Bank for Best Digital and Social Media Advertiser, CastrolPower1 for Best Advertiser on Mobile and Neo Ogilvy India for Best Mobile Media Agency of the Year. Maxus walked away with the most metals, ending the night with 11, and it will be interesting to see whether they can repeat the performance this year too.
