Idea Shop's Vishal Mull announces digital venture 'FabForm'


Vishal Mull, former executive producer and creative director at Idea Shop, has announced his first independent digital content network – ‘FabForm’ that will bring comic and quirky content on-the-go to the country's internet generation. 


Having contributed to the television industry for over two decades now, Mull has co-founded ‘FabForm’ with P rateik Mehta, which aims to cater to the content demands of the country's youth. The network introduces one- of- its- kind 7 days 7 shows format, stressing their aim to provide fresh, interesting and engaging content. 


Having been an integral force behind some of the most successful fiction and nonfiction shows, Mull aims at bringing the regularity of television content to the web with his latest offering. 


Fabform’s first offering The Comic Wallah (TCW) is the comedy wing to the network with comedy sketches, static memes and animated videos being a vital part of its programming . TCW offers shows like Nitibha knows, Tring Tring with Sid and Lights Camera Arjun. While ‘Nitibha knows’ is hosted by ex-contestant of Big Boss- Nitibha Kaul which brings to light several problems faced by a girl on daily basis, ‘Tring Tring with Sid’ gives a sneak peek to the daily lives of famous Bollywood superstars and ‘Lights Camera Arjun’ inspires the youth to follow their dreams and encouraging them to make unconventional career choices. The show’s main lead is Arjun Fauzdar, winner of NDTV prime’s Reality show, Ticket to Bollywood.


Mull says, " Having produced for T elevision and Digital, it was inevitable that we would turn to creating content full time. It's an exciting time to be in digital! We truly believe that the youth are hungry to be entertained and we are optimistic that our on-the-go entertainment will resonate well with their demands. TCW is our first digital channel and there are many more lined up for the immediate future."
