id8 Labs has announced the launch of its digital marketing platform Icogz, which is a combination of tools to help media agencies and marketers in their digital marketing initiatives. The beta stage of the product, to be rolled out over the next month, will have seven out of the proposed 16 media tools planned. Besides the basic analytics, the tools being launched include Ad Serving, Media Planning, Search Marketing, Social Media Optimisation (SMO) tool, Email Reporting, Viral Marketing and Mobile Marketing.
Commenting on the launch, Amit Tripathi, CMD, id8 Labs, said, “This will be integrated with adserving capabilities of the group with an aim to bring value to advertisers by not only optimising their campaign, but also generating valid prospective customers and thus, capturing the data.” He further said that the publisher benefited by serving quality ad content on his property, thus generating maximum revenue through the tool.
Speaking about the revenues expected from the product, Tripathi remarked, “The product will be gradually made available to other agencies and marketers for a fee, beyond its clients, where this platform is a part of the service offerings.”
The analytics application is aimed at managing campaigns and generating reports starting from behavior to conversion. The new tool is also capable of location mapping on real-time basis for all major formats of digital media – from banner to email and search – and is touted to be a key part of the future technological initiatives from the company.
Another component in this tool is the SMO application, which can not only identify the key loyal customers on the web and how vocal they are in different social networks, but also facilitates understanding the type of message this user communicates to his peer group.
