IAMAI brings on board VMAX™ as a founding partner for Mobile 10X

App monetization platform VMAX™ has announced its association with industry body, Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) as a founding partner for its Mobile 10X program. In this unique initiative, VMAX™, Google, Paytm and IAMAI will come together to boost the app ecosystem in India. The founding partners will work in unison to Educate, Engage, Evangelize and Enable app developers in the country.

VMAX™ will play a crucial role in Mobile 10X by running workshops, hackathons, job fests, app fests and mentorship programs across India. Mobile 10X will also have five startup hubs across five Indian cities in the next five years. These startup hubs will include app testing facilities, design labs, co-working spaces, play zones and monetization zones. The monetization zones will be powered by VMAX™, where app developers will be mentored on monetization, hence transforming them from being app developers to ‘App Entrepreneurs.’

The Mobile 10X program aims to scale up the mobile app revenue from INR 1,000 crore to INR 10,000 crore by 2019, along with increasing the number of mobile app developers in India from 50 thousand to 5 lakh in five years.
