Hutch brings Gift Shop on mobile this Diwali

This Diwali, Hutch is offering its subscribers a novel concept of a ‘Gift Shop’ on mobile phones. The ‘gift shop’ will enabling Hutch subscribers to send gifts to friends and family located anywhere in India. Subscribers can pay for gifts through credit cards, Itz cash card or through the Federal Bank Direct Debit Option.

Using the Voice Response facility, Hutch subscribers can easily avail the ‘Hutch Gift Shop’ facilities. Some of the gifts available on the list include ‘Bunty Aur Bubbly’ DVDs, silver coins, Diwali sweets, Cadbury’s chocolates, DVD player with speakers, etc.

For subscribers using the ‘Hutch Gift Shop’ for the first time, a Hutch customer care executive calls for delivery details once the gift is selected. Repeat users can choose a delivery address that is listed while registering or can ask for a change in address. On acceptance of the order by the merchant, subscribers get an SMS with order number.

Speaking on this innovative Diwali service, Sanjoy Mukerji, Operations Director, Hutchison Essar, Delhi, said, “This Diwali, Hutch has again kept up to its promise of offering customer convenience through innovative and easy to use services. By using the ‘Hutch Gift Shop’ service, our subscribers can send gifts to close ones no matter where they are located in India. Diwali being a busy season, organising gifts and making sure it reaches a friend or relative becomes a logistical nightmare, but Hutch subscribers can sit back and relax this Diwali as Hutch will take care of all this.”

In addition to this, Hutch is also offering special Diwali contents on HutchWorld, Hutch subscribers can get wallpapers, themes, poly and true tones, colour logos, SMS tones, M cards, and games. On the voice response service the Hutch Diwali special portal will have new caller tunes, ringtones and information on Lakshmi Pujan.
