Hungama Mobile has entered into a partnership with Dailymotion, wherein the former would be Dailymotion’s anchor partner and business associate for its India operations. Dailymotion is planning to launch in India soon. Hungama Mobile would also take the Dailymotion community to the mobile consumer, where video consumption is already high and will grow rapidly once 3G is introduced later in the year.
Hungama Mobile deals with over 250 leading media and entertainment companies and is enabling their content across various digital platforms.

According to an official statement, India is the fourth largest Internet market in the world, accounting for approximately 15 per cent of all new traffic online. Total Internet users are 52 million and expected to grow to over 200 million over the next four years. India is also the second largest mobile market with over 290 million consumers and is adding 8.5 million consumers each month.
