Hungama bags digital mandate for Timex and Helix

Hungama Digital Services is the new digital media AoR for Timex India and its youth brand, Helix. The agency will manage social media, media buying as well applications for both the brands.

Commenting on the development, VD Wadhwa, Managing Director and CEO, Timex India, said, “We have strategic plans to increase our presence through the launch of brand webstores, social media pages and impactful search and display campaigns. We chose to partner with Hungama as it is the leader in providing effective digital campaigns to brands across markets and categories. This partnership will act as a catalyst in our journey to become the most influential brand in the digital space.”

Timex is focusing on strengthening its brand presence in the digital medium as it offers an important platform for interacting directly with its target audience, besides the measurability of this domain is quantifiable.

Reacting to the win, Neeraj Roy, Managing Director and CEO, Hungama Digital Services, said, “With an experienced and award winning team here, we aim to leverage this opportunity for Timex towards a widespread exposure and an increased engagement in the digital space. Today, India is at the cusp of a digital revolution with 500+ million consumers getting online in the next 3-4 years. We hope to offer integrated digital and experiential services to clients and prepare brands to connect, interact and transact with their customers.”

It may be recalled that JWT Singapore recently acquired a 51 per cent stake in Hungama Digital Services.
