Gourav Rakshit appointed CEO at Shaadi.com, Aditya Save joins as CMO

Shaadi.com founder, Anupam Mittal, has stepped down as the CEO of the company. According to market reports he will now focus on corporate development and new businesses, which will include international expansion.

Gourav Rakshit, who was chief operating officer, has been appointed CEO at Shaadi.com. As Shaadi.com looks to raise a new round of funding of at least $100 million, it has also beefed up senior management teams, state market reports.

It has also been reported that former head of Marico's global centre of excellence for digital and media, Aditya Save, has been appointed chief marketing officer, replacing Abhishek Maloo, who will join Mittal in the corporate development team. Shaadi.com has also hired Ketan Doshi, an IIT-Bombay and Stanford graduate who used to be director of product development at BMC Software as chief technology officer.
